Books Through Bars will sell you some treats this afternoon, and you should swing by. It’s happening right now! Here are the deets:
Hello all — this Saturday, September the 12th, Books Through Bars is going to have a fundraiser bake sale table between noon and five-ish outside the Park Slope Food Co-Op: 782 Union Street between 6th and 7th Avenues in Brooklyn. We’ll be dishing out the snacks and lemonade and talking up what Books Through Bars does. It should be a fun and useful afternoon — the Anarchist Black Cross bike ride is supposedly stopping by en route — and a chance for area folk to find out about BTB, which is walking distance away.
