Alex Crosier is a catalog librarian at New York University. She runs an ever-expanding granola business called Granola Lab and lives in Prospect Heights. Haruki Murakami is her favorite author, hands-down.
Elizabeth Bird is a Senior Children’s Librarian with New York Public Library’s Children’s Center at 42nd Street. She is the author of Children’s Literary Gems: Choosing and Using Them in Your Library Career and her first picture Giant Dance Party will be out with Harper Collins in Fall 2011. Elizabeth reviews for Kirkus, The New York Times, and on her blog A Fuse #8 Production on School Library Journal’s website (http://blogs.schoollibraryjournal.com/afuse8production).
Sarah Murphy loves Jane Austen, Vladimir Nabokov, Edith Wharton, and William Shakespeare, but A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is her favorite book of all time.
